Meet Our Trainers
Alison Flury declared Professional status at the onset of the 2009 season.
Beginning her education at the early age of four, Alison Flury has spent her life thus far learning and sharing all she can about horses. Starting with early ground training sessions, she has applied her knowledge in an effort to help others make the most of their passion with respect to their horses. From the early days of “pony pals” ,both the four and two legged kind, playing in the neighborhood to the present day efforts shared in her backyard grand prix ring with riders of all ages, she has continued to make a positive difference in the lives of those she works with. Much like the early days, this applies to both the two and four legged version of students.
Her years of experience in the discipline of show jumping encompass competing in all types of venues, from the local county fair and schooling shows to the most challenging heights experienced at the national/international level of the sport. Presently trained by Joe Fargis, a two time Olympic gold medalist, she continues to develop her talent and skills in hopes of not only standing on the podium but also in feeling the extreme satisfaction which comes from the hours spent working with her four legged companion working toward the goal. The financial constraints which from a young age required her to train her mounts has allowed her to realize her gift in being able to do so. Regardless of what level you might aspire to, she can help you to reach your goals for both you and your horse!
