Sire Diamant d’Semilly is a world-renowned stallion that competed successfully at the highest levels of showjumping before siring countless winners. Diamant carries much of the most important jumping blood in French breeding and is ranked as one of the top 10 stallions in the World Breeding Federation Show Jumping. As a competitor, Diamant was one of the top international horses of his day. He qualified for both the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, and jumped 11 out of 12 clear rounds in nation cups for the French Team in 2002. In addition, in 2003, Diamant was the silver medalist at the European Championships. He has produced countless international performing offspring and also several winners in the young horse classes. Not only has Diamant sired several approved stallions, but they are regularly the highest scoring stallions at their approvals. His offspring include the up and coming stallion Emerald under Harrie Smolders, Eurocommerce Toulouse, and Kalaska de Semilly a numerous medal winner. His offspring can be seen performing in every major championship around the world.
Dam Grand Rose ABF (Rio Grande x Lord Incipit) is bred for the jumper ring and with exceptional scope and carefulness, she would be sure to excel. However, with her perfect jumping technique and gorgeous movement she has won several championships in the hunter ring. Dam sire, Rio Grande, comes from a long line of international showjumpers such as Raphael and Ramiro and Rio Grande himself competed at the top of the sport. Rio Grande qualified for the 1996 Olympics but the rider was unable to attend; he was also on two winning Canadian Nations Cup teams. Dam’s dam Viva la Rose comes from a long line of international horses and she herself was a winning open speed mare at the top level.
